a preview of my past
As I mentioned before, I wanted to post something that I honestly thought would never see the light of day. That is my old pet project/comic, as well a rightful precursor to my current fledgling one: Ultima Novella.
The 'cleverly' (ha, not really) titled 'Ultima Child' comic, was without a doubt a cornerstone in my making as an artist up to now. Like any artist that looks back on their past works, I feel amused at how far I've come, but in this case how much I was growing in that period of time. In a way, I feel blessed.
So before I move on to try and accomplish bigger and better things, I'll let those interested enough take a look into into my past. For now I leave you a preview of one of my favorite pages from the comic, as I try to sort out the pages.
Cheers!

for he is the reclaimer
This was actually painted traditionally, then altered and finished in Photoshop.
The illustration itself is sorta symbolic for the narrative. With Lupus (and his companions) playing a major role in the transpiring 'series' of events that take place.

cuspis update
Now he seems more appropriate to his classy (albeit shady) background. Cuspis was the first of the main characters in Ultima Novella to have a popped into my head. This sketch is still missing a few final details tho.
Of course this is but one of his appearances,
as the characters will change clothing throughout the narrative. I'm holding off giving descriptive back stories until I feel more confident.
More to come, slowly but sure surely anyways.
Below is an earlier drawing of him...

makin tee-shirts
I've been wanting to draw a Medusa t-shirt for a while now, so yea.
Medusa Monroe, my little creative take on Medusa using Marylin Monroe's iconic face. Got some other neat designs I'll show eventually.
On a side note, Lately I'm having a bit of trouble gettin some intricate ideas/concepts out of my head and onto paper.
(specifically ideas for Ultima Novella). Guess'll I'll have to experiment with a new work flow, who knows.

Ultima Novella detailed
Well here we are, this is my personal project, and this is my long term experiment. Hell I'd go as far as calling this my magnus opus
(but let's not jump the gun.)
Ultima Novella in a sense is quite a lot of things. Tho essentially it's a reboot of an old comic that I worked on when I was younger. Unfortunately, I never managed to truly see it through...until now.

『Ultima Novella: Permissi Inhaero Una is the collective name of a series of stories made under the "Ultima" label. Permissi Inhaero Una
Many of these tales will take place at different time periods, with each having its own genuine plot and characters respectively.
In general these tales share a common underlining mythos, but individually will echo their own themes and ideals.
Many of these tales will vary in presentation and concept. Some will be one shot stories, while others may expand over several volumes.
Ultima EFFLIXI (with Lupus severing as its protagonist.)』
A pseudo-modern setting, where in which the many nations of Jorde are undergoing a huge cultural shift. An era where where Magic and Science have coalesced as one into a prominent religion.
These are the chronicles of a new era, the Magie Renaissance.』
(Efflixi is Latin for: 'to tear apart, to dismantle, or destroy')
More updates to come, as things progress.

rated R
Another painting I did today for practice. Didn't feel like finishing it, so don't mind the half-assed hand & shirt. Women seem to be the favored subjects for my practice sessions, This is good.
Gotta keep movin...
