Some thing I started yesterday and finished tonight. A simple portrait of a supposed cute gal. Lately I been needing to draw more women, and so I start with this. It looks a tad rushed since I didn't decide to finish it.

Maybe next time...

One of my current works, this is a commission for someone on DA.

Hope to get this done and polished by Monday or Tuesday.

Got a few other illustrations goin on at the moment along with this one.

It's challenging, but gets more fun as things start coming together.

sketch!

 Made a new avatar for the deviant art group   Sketch Hub, since the page became an official DA group thing. 

It's a crew of  different artists (including myself) posting up daily, weekly, or bi-weekly sketches, doodles, and whatnot. 

Meh...

Made another banner, yep.

wolf guard of the King

I think I'm finally getting closer to a final design for this guy.  
He is Lupus Tego Regali, the etymology of his whole name is Latin for (the wolf that guards the King). 


He is a protagonist for one of the stories from my personal project, "Project Ultima".  I still have yet to workout the details in his prosthetic armour, but I'm pretty fond on his entire design thus far.

some expected & unexpected fresh starts

 

Well looks like and unexpected predicament happened to me recently, My entire Hard-drive on my computer crashed or somethin. Apparently it became corrupt after some program I unfortunately installed (wont be doin that again...)  

Had to get it repaired, and I just got it back today. And pretty much everything I ever owned (art work, music, movies, brushes, the whole nine, were all erased since windows had to be reinstalled again. Tho to be perfectly honest I'm not at all upset or regretful. It's like a proper clean slate that I've been lookin to get lately. So with that, I guess I'll have to round up all my previous content again and be more organized this time around and get a portable HD just to be safe. Lesson learned ha ha.   

Not to mention, this random fresh start is more than appealing for my personal project under the working title "Project Ultima". Should be fun.

winter lane

Still challenging myself, and with that I figured I should seriously get back into background art. I used to always draw backgrounds and buildings just as much as characters, but somewhere along the way, 
I seemed to have lost some of that fondness (which made me a little sad ha ha). 

On a related side note, it's snowing again for some reason, so a winter speed paint was the result of that I guess.

it's a wonderful world...almost

Trying my best to make the final stretch for my comic "A.K.A: It's A Wonderful World" for the zine M&D on GBX. And man am I rusty! Haven't done proper line art for far too long, not mention this is my first time implementing halftones into anything comic related ha ha.

Well anyways, I'll post the first 4 pages once I finish them.

back in the day...

Continuing to work out more concepts for the characters and the world. I can see the story starting to shape itself more. This is a running concept of "one" of the protagonists in his youth, when he was a rookie soldier in the military. It's the blonde character from before made new, but during this point he is a teenager.
